Coronavirus: Indonesia halts religious gathering, does health checks on nearly 9,000 pilgrims

Indonesia has halted a mass congregation of nearly 9,000 Muslim pilgrims in an effort to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. Health officials started doing health checks on devotees, putting some into quarantine, after the gathering was suspended on March 19, 2020.
