While everyone is looking at the coronavirus outbreak, news about the imminent collapse of the telecom sector has been buried. The government has only 14 days to present its argument to the Supreme Court regarding the case on revenue collection from telcos. Vodafone has already said it won't be able to survive if it has to pay such a huge amount, leading to a breakdown in national communication and deepening the crisis in an already bleeding economy.
