Pinning one's hopes on acupuncture for better pet health

Meet Dr Susanna Santhiram-Hofherr of Asia Paws, a certified veterinarian who practises animal acupuncture. Her clientele includes mostly pet dogs and cats but in the past have included goats and snakes as well.

She explains that acupuncture works on animals the same way it does on humans, with numerous studies having proven that the treatments help oxygenate the body better, stimulate endorphins and reduce free radicals.
