Poultry Farmers are facing huge losses due to coronavirus. In Maharashtra’s Pune, farmers receive Rs 20 on one chicken, earlier, it was Rs 150. One of the poultry farmers said that he faced a loss of Rs 10 crore due to coronavirus. There are rampant rumours that the coronavirus was spread by eating meat, however the Ministry of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries had already denied it and said that COVID-19 is not transmitted through meat, egg or fish.
