Coronavirus outbreak: Calcutta High Court to start thermal screening of visitors

As outbreak of coronavirus continues to haunt, Calcutta High Court issued a notification to take all necessary measures. From today onwards, Calcutta High Court will start thermal screening of visitors at entry gates. “Physicians from the high court medical unit or other appropriate personnel will be stationed at all the entry points of the main building and use thermal guns to check the temperatures of all entrants, including judges, lawyers and litigants,” lawyer further said. “The lawyers advise their clients not to visit the court unless their presence is directed by the court or is unavoidable,” told the lawyer. The order was issued by registrar general.
