Dr Lee wants gov't to close all schools for one month

Former deputy health minister Dr Lee Boon Chye said it's time for the government to focus on mitigation, instead of tracking close contacts of confirmed Covid-19 patients.
This is because Lee said it would be difficult to track down and isolate potential cases due to the enormous number of cases and contacts.
He said the focus should now be placed on mitigation, by reducing the number of cases and optimising healthcare resources.
Lee proposed for the closure of all schools, colleges, universities and kindergartens for one month.
