Meet the Indian man with 'world's longest' 32-foot moustache
  • 4 years ago
Girdhar Vyas has been growing his moustache since 1985 and is convinced his magnificent whiskers are the longest in the world.

The 60-year-old from Bikaner in the Indian state of Rajasthan has become a local celebrity and has been dubbed the "Moustache Man of India."

His moustache measures 16-feet on each side giving it a total length of 32 feet.

Taking care of his lengthy tash is hard work and Vyas goes through an intricate daily maintenance routine of grooming and oiling his facial hair for two the three hours per day.

He claims never to apply soap or shampoo to his whiskers, preferring lemon and pepper.

Having such a long moustache does have its drawbacks - he says he is unable to eat ice cream.

But, he says, it's a small price to pay for the celebrity treatment he gets in his village.
