LGUs to impose 30-day curfew in Metro Manila on MMC recommendation to curb spread of COVID-19

Local government units (LGUs), through the recommendation of the Metro Manila Council (MMC), will impose a 30-day curfew in the metropolis starting March 15 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to prevent the public from going outside their homes and to reduce the risk of spreading and contracting coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) but Garcia clarified that the curfew in Metro Manila will "most probably" be implemented next week when city mayors release a local ordinance.
