The BCCI held a joint meeting of the Governing Council and all 8 franchises in Mumbai over the Coronavirus crisis over the IPL. According to a BCCI official, 6 to 7 options including the short format of IPL were discussed in the meeting. However, other options could not be disclosed. There was no discussion on holding the tournament abroad in the meeting.

आईपीएल पर कोरोनावायरस के संकट को लेकर बीसीसीआई ने मुंबई में गवर्निंग काउंसिल और सभी 8 फ्रेंचाइजियों की संयुक्त बैठक बुलाई थी। बीसीसीआई अधिकारी के मुताबिक, बैठक में आईपीएल के छोटे फॉर्मेट समेत 6 से 7 विकल्पों पर चर्चा हुई। हांलाकि बाकि विकल्पों का खुलासा नहीं हो सका। बैठक में टूर्नामेंट को विदेश में कराने पर कोई चर्चा नहीं हुई। बीसीसीआई ने कहा कि उनके लिए आईपीएल से ज्यादा जरूरी लोगों की सुरक्षा है।
