Indonesia's government has launched a technology used to produce artificial rain in a bid to tackle forest fires across the country.
An aircraft will drop 20 tons of sodium chloride in order to form a cloud to create artificial rain. The operation is being carried out to prevent forest fires in the Riau Province.
