Geyser formed from former mine ventilation shaft at Pennsylvania landmark

At a former coal mine in Pennsylvania water running through to a borehole forms a geyser and is a local landmark.

Footage shows the "Big Mine Run" flowing at least five feet in the air.

The filmer explained: "The geyser flowing into Mahanoy Creek was the standard orange in color and stained the rocks it passed over.

"The geyser had the distinct smell of rotten eggs smell indicating sulfuric from coal."

The attraction is not a naturally occurring geyser but is considered a historical landmark in the local area.
