... rive de la Durance #2.
14h00 : Un cincle plongeur pêche devant au soleil.
15h45 : Le même cincle chante dans le dernier rayon de soleil.
15h55 : Couchant sur l'affût; mon mallorn loin en haut est seul pour résister encore un temps à l'ombre.
17h15 : Un chevalier guignette arpente la rive d'en face quand un couple de colverts monte la Durance.
Le cincle est toujours là à pêcher.
17h30 : Tiens !, il y a deux guignettes !
Les deux colverts approchent tranquillement.
17h45 : Le mâle colvert s'alerte, le cincle s'envole, un homme vient au bord, regarde un bref instant pour repartir aussitôt.
Le couple de canards dérive vite en aval.
En un instant la magie s'éteint, il n'y a plus personne et ils ne reviendront plus pour ce soir.
Ah si ! Un guignette est toujours sur la rive en face.
18h00 : Je peux remballer avant la nuit...
Dipper singing...

...bank of the Durance #2,
2.00 p.m. : A white-throated dipper fishing in the sun in front.
3.45 p.m. : The same dipper sings in the last ray of sunshine.
3.55 p.m. : Shadow on the lookout; my mallorn far up is alone to resist shade for a while longer.
5.15 p.m. : A common sandpiper roams the opposite bank when a couple of mallards goes up the Durance.
The dipper is still out there fishing.
5.30 p.m. : Here ! There are two sandpipers !
The two mallards approach quietly.
5.45 p.m. : The mallard male alerts, the dipper flies away, a man comes to the edge, look for a brief moment to leave immediately.
The couple of ducks drift fast downstream.
In an instant the magic goes out, there’s no one left and they won’t come back for tonight.
Oh yes ! One sandpiper is always on the bank opposite.
6.00 p.m. : I can repack before dark...
