A large murmuration gathered above the village of Nobber in Co. Meath on March 8.

Footage shows the acrobatic flock flowing in the sky creating an impressive sight.

It is said that the birds travel in groups of close to 100,000 and it helps them relay information between each other and avoid predators.

The filmer said: "[This is] a regular event that occurs around sunset."
