#SheInspiresUs: Woman entrepreneur from Ludhiana sets up hosiery firm with PM’s Mudra Yojana

A woman from Punjab’s Ludhiana has set an example of women entrepreneurship. After working at different places, Daisy Shah decided to set her own firm for hosiery manufacture. She expanded her business with help from Prime Minister’s Mudra Yojana. Speaking to ANI, Daisy said, “I took advice from 2-3 people and they suggested me Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY). I took help from Union Bank. With that investment I started my own manufacturing. I have been manufacturing hosiery clothing since past 2 years.” She further elaborated on her achievements after taking loan from bank, she said, “The help from bank has expanded the margin of my investment. Earlier I had only 5-7 labours, right now there are 20-25 workers working for me.”
