Holi 2020: Chadimar Holi celebrated with gusto in Mathura | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Mathura Mar 07 Ahead of the festival of colors, residents of Mathura played Chadimaar Holi with religious zeal. Chadimaar Holi is celebrated in a very unique way, women beat men with little sticks as per traditional culture of Gokul. Scores of foreigners also participate in Chadimaar Holi. Gokul is the birth place of Lord Krishna, who used to play Holi with his friends in this way as per local belief. The nation will celebrate Holi on March 10.

गोकुल की कुंज गलियां, जहां कीं लीलाधर ने जानें कितनी लीलाएं। मटकी फोड़ी, माखन चुराया, जाने कितने ही तरीकों से हर गोकुलवासी का दिल लुभाया। उन्‍हीं तमाम लीलाओं में एक लीला थी होली की। जिसका आनंद शनिवार को हर गोकुल वासी ने लिया।गोकुल, जो कन्‍हैया की बाल लीलाओं का प्रमुख स्‍थल है। जहां बाल रूप में कान्‍हा ने लीलाएं कीं और राधा के साथ प्रेम भरी अठखेलियां भी कीं।
