Street barbers, a traditional institution in Pakistan

  • hace 4 años
Islamabad, Mar 6 (EFE).- Street barbers are ubiquitous in Pakistan’s parks and markets, with mirrors hanging from trees and walls surrounded by locals drinking tea, reading a newspaper and chatting.

The profession is passed down through the generations and barbers on the streets of Pakistan and other countries in South Asia offer haircuts and shaves from 50 rupees (0.2 euros). (Camera: JAIME LEON. Editor: NATTAKARN JEAMRUGEEKUL).
