A vote of no-confidence in Parliament against the new prime minister is akin to a no-confidence vote against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, said PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.

"Those who want a vote of no-confidence are the ones who don't trust His Majesty... It is up to the public to assess (such behaviour)," said Hadi during a press conference in Marang, Terengganu, today.

Hadi said the Agong has helped resolve a political crisis in the country and was wise to confer with party leaders.
