Nirbhaya case: Pawan Gupta's mercy plea rejected by the President

The President today rejected the mercy petition of Nirbhaya case convict Pawan Gupta paving the way for hanging of all four. Gupta, one of the four death row convicts in the Nirbhaya case, had on Monday filed mercy plea before the President of India, hours after the Supreme Court (SC) dismissed his curative petition.
