India suspends visas for travellers from Italy, Iran, South Korea, Japan

India has intensified medical screening a day after two more positive cases of coronavirus were reported in the country. Five people are now infected with coronavirus in India. The government suspended visas and e-visas granted on or before Tuesday to people travelling from Italy, Iran, South Korea and Japan, effective immediately, after a surge in cases of Covid-19 in these countries.
