Edge Spear On Jeff Hardy Off The Ladder deserves a deep rewind | WrestleMania X-Seven TLC Match

It’s April 1st, 2001. Houston, Texas. The Dudley Boyz are defending their WWF Tag Team Titles in arguably the greatest match in WWE history: TLC II!
Unlike April Fools Day, this match is no joke! Look at their opponents, Edge and Christian, who were just recognized by Dave Metzler of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter as the Tag Team of the Year in 2000. But this wasn’t your normal 2-on-2 tag match, it was a 2 (Dudleyz)-on-2 (Edge and Christian)-on-2 (Hardy Boyz) with The Hardy Boyz. The Hardyz were known for their dare devil like moves and being Team Xtreme with Lita in the crew!
However, at one point during the match, Jeff Hardy is hanging on to the titles for dear life. As he could be a five-time (Booker T) tag team champion along with his brother, Matt if he takes them. But the man who would eventually be known as The Ultimate Opportunist didn’t want that to happen.
