Many experts believe that the RM20bil stimulus package announced by Interim Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to counter the outbreak of Covid-19 is larger than the estimated overall impact of the virus to the economy. However, the outcome of the undergoing political changes will determine the fate of Malaysia’s economy.
