Uddhav Thackeray led coalition government in Maharashtra has decided to provide 5% reservation to Muslims in all educational institutes in the state. Minority Affairs Minister Nawab Malik said that We will ensure that the legislation to this effect is passed soon. Nawab Malik also said High Court had given its nod to give 5% reservation to Muslims in government educational institutions. Last govt did not take any action on it. So we have announced that we will implement the HC's order in the form of law as soon as possible.

महाराष्ट्र की उद्धव ठाकरे सरकार राज्य में मुसलमानों को रिजर्वेशन का बड़ा तोहफा देने जा रही है। शिवसेना, एनसीपी और कांग्रेस गठबंधन की सरकार ने राज्य में मुसलमानों को शिक्षा और रोजगार में रिजर्वेशन देने को लेकर अध्यादेश लाने का ऐलान किया है। एनसीपी नेता नवाब मलिक ने इस बात की जानकारी है। एनसीपी नेता ने कहा कि मौजूदा सरकार ने पिछली सरकार के मुसलमानों को शिक्षण संस्थाओं में 5 प्रतिशत आरक्षण देने के फैसले को मंजूरी दे दी है।
