It’s been a year since a Mi-17 IAF helicopter crashed in Budgam. The Indian Air force later admitted that the crash had happened because one of their own ground-based missile shot it down. Families of the deceased continue to run from pillar to post for the compensation they were promised, while simultaneously hoping for bravery awards for the deceased.
