Taiwan schools reopen amid Covid-19 epidemic while schools in Hong Kong remain closed
  • 4 years ago
Taiwan reopened kindergartens and high schools on February 25, 2020, after an extended winter break amid fears about the coronavirus outbreak. The Taiwan government also released new instructions for school suspensions in the event of any confirmed cases of Covid-19, the disease caused by the virus. Hong Kong’s government, however, will extend school closures prompted by the outbreak until at least April 20, after the Easter holiday.
