US Marines - Long Range Shooting - Fort Greely, Alaska, Feb. 20, 2020

Marines with 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company, 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, conduct a long-distance live-fire range on Fort Greely, Alaska, Feb. 20, 2020, in preparation for exercise Arctic Edge 2020.

The training in preparation for Arctic Edge aims to maintain the Marines’ ability to occupy arctic and sub-arctic regions such as Alaska which remain tactically advantageous to the U.S. and its allies.
