On the second date of Shukla Paksha, Phalaira Duj is celebrated in the month of Phalgun. It is considered the most auspicious day in the month of Falgun. Even today, this festival is celebrated in villages. On this day, children in the villages pluck flowers and make its Rangoli. It is said that every moment of this day is auspicious and holy. This time it will be celebrated on 8 March.Lord Krishna is worshiped in the house on this day and offered a Gulal to his deity.

फाल्गुन महीने में शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वितीया तिथि को फुलैरा दूज मनाई जाती है। इसे फाल्गुन मास में सबसे पावन दिन माना जाता है। आज भी गांवों में इस त्योहार को मनाया जाता है। इस दिन गांवों में बच्चे फूलों को तोड़कर इसकी रंगोली बनाते है। कहा जाता है कि इस दिन का हर क्षण शुभ और पवित्र होता है। इस दिन घर में भगवान कृष्ण की पूजा की जाती है और अपने इष्ट देव को गुलाल चढ़ाया जाता है।
