Rio carnival gets underway

It's that time of year again - when the streets of Rio de Janeiro become a sea of colour and sound. The annual carnival is under way - and millions of people are expected to come out and celebrate. The festivities are due to last until next Saturday - as the BBC's Tim Allman explains.
