Inside an Ant Colony (3D Model of a Real Fire Ant Colony)

How does it look travelling through the tunnels and chambers of a real fire ant colony? We’re about to find out. A 3D scan of an aluminum cast of a fire ant colony produced this model of the ant colony which I used to create animations moving through the colony.
