Shaheen Bagh protest: Supreme Court appointed mediators reached Shaheen Bagh on Thursday to initiate the second round of discussion, but they put a condition that media should not be present during the talks with protesters. Supreme Court Mediators Sanjay Hedge and Sadhana Ramachandran were not willing to start the discussion in the presence of media, so they will come again on friday and try to discuss with women's team.

बुधवार को पहले दौर की बातचीत के बाद गुरुवार को शाहीन बाग के दोनों वार्ताकार संजय हेगड़े और साधना रामचंद्रन दूसरे राउंड की वार्ता के लिए शाहीन बाग पहुंचे। एक बार फिर से दोनों ने प्रदर्शनकारियों के सामने अपनी बात रखी और सुलह का रास्ता निकालने की कोशिश की। हालांकि बुधवार की तरह गुरुवार को भी इनकी बातचीत बेनतीजा ही रही और गतिरोध खत्म नहीं हुआ। वार्ताकारों ने कहा कि मीडिया की गैर मौजूदगी में किसी अलग जगह पर बातचीत करने की ज़रूरत है। अब वार्ताकार शुक्रवार को फिर शाहीन बाग आएंगे और 10-15 महिलाओं की टीम से अलग से बात करेंगे।
