The 11-year-old malamute-corgi mix loves to sleep under his owner's bed every night
An elderly dog who loves sleeping under his owner’s bed has melted the hearts of Reddit viewers after his morning routine was shared online.
The cute footage shows 11-year-old Atka slowly crawling towards the cameraman from under the bed.
“Hey buddy, let’s go it’s time to go outside,” the owner says as the pooch manages to reach the end of the bed.
He eventually emerges and is given a well-deserved stroke on the neck.
Reddit user u/laserdiscmagic shared the footage online earlier today, where it has since received a whopping 108,000 upvotes.
He explained that he adopted the “senior doggo” and that he follows the same routine every morning.
“He's on a diet, three walks a day, and gets lots of wrestle time and pets,” the user explained.
“His health is improving rapidly with exercise, diet, and love.
“He's incredibly friendly and has done well in every situation we've put him in.”
Viewers were quick to flood to the comments section where they both praised the owner for adopting an old dog and gawked at the cuteness of the pooch itself.
