'My child was crying': Car being towed nearly causes head-on collision on UK road

This was the moment a driver in Somerset had to slam on the breaks after a towing car was stationary at a junction.
Filmed on August 10, 2019, footage shows how two cars are sprawled across a junction with a towing cable in the oncoming vehicle's right of way causing the driver to slam on.
The driver explained: "[The] video was taken on a drive home with my toddler as I saw a car turning right - with no warning lights on - and almost too late I saw that it was towing a car so I had to really step on my brakes to not cause an accident.
"Thankfully there was nobody driving behind me so nothing serious happened.
"The towing driver then stepped out of the car and started shouting at me even though it was all their fault.
"My child was crying so I just continued driving home in shock."
