सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने शुक्रवार को फेडरेशन ऑफ ऑटोमोबाइल डीलर्स एसोसिएशन (FADA) की उस याचिका को खारिज कर दिया है, जिसमें BS-IV वाहनों को बेचने की अंतिम अवधि 1 अप्रैल 2020 से आगे बढ़ाने की बात की गई थी. FADA ने याचिका में कहा था कि BS-IV इंजन वाले वाहनों को बेचने की डेडलाइन 1 महीने के लिए बढ़ा दिया जाए. इस मामले की सुनवाई कर रहे जस्टिस अरुण मिश्रा और जस्टिस दीपक गुप्ता ने कहा कि कोर्ट एक दिन के लिए भी BS-IV वाहनों के बेचने की डेडलाइन नहीं बढ़ाएगी.
