The Congress has suffered a crushing defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections. Even in the seats where Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi campaigned, the party could not save the bail. Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi had sought votes for the party candidates in four assembly constituencies Sangam Vihar, Matia Mahal, Jangpura and Kondli assembly seats. दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस को करारी हार मिली है. कई सीटें ऐसी रहीं जहां कांग्रेस प्रत्याशियों की बुरी तरह से जमानत जब्त हो गई. जिन सीटों पर राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी ने प्रचार किया वहां भी पार्टी जमानत नहीं बचा पाई. राहुल और प्रियंका गांधी ने चार विधानसभा क्षेत्रों संगम विहार, मटिया महल, जंगपुरा और कोंडली विधानसभा सीट पर पार्टी प्रत्याशियों के लिए वोट मांगे थे. तीन पर तो पार्टी का प्रदर्शन बहुत ही खराब रहा है।
