While RichardMetalFan is at Center Stage documenting Machine Head, I make my way over to the Masquerade to enjoy the lovely late '90s sounds of Deron Miller and his newest project, 96 Bitter Beings.

Joined by Detroit Thrashgrassers The Native Howl and Oklahoma-based hard rockers Locust Grove, the crowd may be small but it makes the show feel more personal/intimate....and personal/intimate it certainly was when I conversed with Deron after the show.

May just be one of the best concerts I've ever been to.....
