Budget 2020 has created lots of nuances and a lot of the fineprint has left people slightly confused as well. Whether it is the manner in which now the mutual funds are going to be taxed – the tax is in the hands of the recipient, there are question marks around ULIPs and then there is the biggest question of them all to shift or not to shift to the new income tax regime that is on offer.
