A day before the film's theatrical release, the makers of Malang held a special screening of the romantic action thriller in Mumbai. Apart from Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Kunal Kemmu and Anil Kapoor, those who watched the film included Tiger Shroff, Katrina Kaif, Nushrat Bharucha, Nora Fatehi, Bhushan Kumar and Sonam Kapoor among others.
