Maghi Purnima is on 9 February (Sunday) this year. In the month of Magh, water says that 'whoever bathes in me as soon as the sun rises, we immediately destroy even the greatest sins of him.' But fortunate one can take a bath if the Sun is in Capricorn, or in the entire Magh month.

माघी पूर्णिमा इस वर्ष 9 फरवरी (रविवार) को है। माघ मास में जल का यह कहना है कि ‘जो सूयार्दय होते ही मुझमें स्नान करता है, उसके बड़े से बड़े पाप भी हम तत्काल नष्ट कर उसे शुद्ध एवं पवित्र कर डालते हैं।’ पर सूर्य के मकर राशि में रहने पर, या पूरे माघ महीने में भाग्यशाली ही स्नान कर सकता है।
