Super Bowl Win by Paying Adoption Fees
for Over 100 Shelter Dogs Nnadi and his NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs,
recently won Super Bowl LIV against the San Francisco 49ers. In honor of his Super Bowl
win, Nnadi decided to pay the
adoption fee for every dog at the
KC Pet Project animal shelter. Tori Fugate, KC Pet
Project CCO, to CNN That’s an estimated $15,000 donated, as the average
adoption fee for each of the available dogs is $150. Since the Super Bowl, at least 60 dogs
have already found their forever
homes thanks to Nnadi. The KC Pet Project has been partnered with
the Derrick Nnadi Foundation since 2019. According to CNN, Nnadi’s love
for his own dog, Rocky, inspired
