The state of California is banning the manufacturing and the sale of animal fur products.
Residents will no longer be able to sell or make clothing, shoes and handbags out of fur, starting 2023.
"California is a leader when it comes to animal welfare and today that leadership includes banning the sale of fur", Gavin Newsom, 40th Governor or California, that signed the bill.
Prada is one of the first fashion house to stop using fur. The first collection will be the spring / summer 2020 line, that will be fur free.
