India vs New Zealand: Shubman Gill to replace injured Rohit Sharma in Test squad. Shubman Gill has been named the replacement for Rohit Sharma in the upcoming Test series vs New Zealand after the India opener was ruled of the remainder of the New Zealand tour due to a calf injury. India limited-overs format vice-captain Rohit Sharma sustained the injury during the 5th and final T20I vs New Zealand where he scored 60 runs before being retiring hurt.
