Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested 108 members of the Popular Front of India in the last four days for their alleged involvement in protests against the anti-citizenship law. UP Additional Chief Secretary said, More information is being gathered about the organization, including information of their financial transactions. We are also taking assistance from central agencies.

उत्तर प्रदेश में नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ भड़कीं हिंसा के पीछे पॉपुलर फ्रंट ऑफ़ इंडिया यानी PFI के शामिल होने की बात सामने आने के बाद पुलिस सक्रिय हो गई है. पुलिस ने अभी तक इस मामले में PF से जुड़े 108 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है. यूपी के कार्यवाहक डीजीपी हितेश चंद्र अवस्थी ने कहा कि पीएफआई संभल, मुजफ्फरनगर, लखनऊ, शामली जिलों में सक्रिय है. 19 और 20 दिसंबर को हिंसा भड़काने के लिए पीएफआई के कार्यकर्ता ही जिम्मेदार थे.
