Budget 2020: Swachh Bharat Mission gets Rs 12,300 crore

During Budget speech, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman informed that government of India has proposed Rs 12,300 crores for Swachh Bharat Mission for the year 2020-21.
"Allocation of Rs 12,300 crore for Swachh Bharat Mission for year 2020-21, aiming to provide water supply to all households, prime minister announced from the Red Fort the 'Jal Jeevan' mission, our government has approved 3.6 lakh crore for this mission,"Finance Minister said.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the full Budget of the second term of the Narendra Modi government. Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for financial year 2020-21.
