This book will provide an overview of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), showing educators how to embody UDL in their instructional design. UDL will be applied to the design of the book by recognizing (adult) learner variability, providing options and choice in the use of the book, as well as multiple means of engagement, representation and action and expression through a variety of media options and hands-on activities and reflections. The book offers three modes of entry--for those new to UDL; those who are familiar with the term and wish to further apply it to their practice; and those experienced with UDL who are ready to explore it at a deeper level in order to coach or teach others.
