After long-awaited rainfall bushfires have returned to Australia ravaging parts of the Capital Territory near Canberra yesterday (January 28).

Footage caught by a car's passenger shows the glowing through dark skies as bushfires illuminate from below as an inferno swept through Namadgi National Park.

The filmer explained that the region was recently damaged by 'disastrous' hailstorms.
