India has performed poorly in Transparency International Corruption Experience Index (CPI) 2019. India ranks 80th among 180 countries in the world in terms of corruption. Whereas in 2018, India was ranked 78th position. Transparency International has released an annual index of corruption. Talking of increasing corruption, more corruption has been seen in those countries where large amount of rupees are spent in elections.

ट्रांसपरेंसी इंटरनेशनल की भ्रष्टाचार अनुभव सूचकांक यानि सीपीआई 2019 में भारत का खराब प्रदर्शन रहा है। भ्रष्टाचार के मामले में भारत का दुनिया के 180 देशों में 80वां स्थान है। जबकि, 2018 में भारत 78वें पायदान पर था। ट्रांसपरेंसी इंटरनेशनल भ्रष्टाचार को लेकर सालाना सूचकांक जारी किया है। बढ़ते भ्रष्टाचार की बात करें तो उन देशों में ज्यादा भ्रष्टाचार देखा गया है जहां चुनावों में बड़े पैमाने पर रुपए खर्च किए जाते हैं।
