'Sitting at home is not an option, anymore', says a young protestor at Delhi's Seelampur area. Residents at Seelampur have been in a sit-in protest against the new citizenship law since weeks. On December 17, a protest at Seelampur had turned violent, after which the Delhi police detained men, women and children from the protest site. Almost after a month, the residents have taken to the streets peacefully once again.
