Delhi Election 2020: What is the political equation of Chandni Chowk. BJP candidate Suman Kumar Gupta was defeated by Alka Lamba while contesting on Chandni Chowk Assembly seat on Aam Aadmi Party ticket in 2015. However, for the last two years, Alka Lamba's relationship with AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal was not good. After which he was also removed from the party's WhatsApp group. In 2019, Alka Lamba returned home to the Congress.

चांदनी चौक विधानसभा सीट पर 2015 में आम आदमी पार्टी के टिकट पर लड़ते हुए अलका लांबा ने बीजेपी प्रत्याशी सुमन कुमार गुप्ता को हराया था। हालांकि पिछले दो साल से आप प्रमुख अरविंद केजरीवाल के साथ अलका लांबा के संबंध ठीक नहीं थे. जिसके बाद उन्हें पार्टी के वाट्सऐप ग्रुप से भी निकाल दिया गया. वहीं 2019 में अलका लांबा ने कांग्रेस में घर वापसी कर ली.
