Aerial footage from a wildlife research facility in Loei, northeast Thailand shows a herd of elephants cooling off in a pool of water.

The family of jumbos was seen enjoying the bath last Saturday (January 18) afternoon when temperatures soared past 30C.

The herd comprises of more than 30 elephants, which wildlife ranges said was bigger than the region's average family of just 15 elephants.
