Telangana Municipal Elections 2020 :Voting underway amid tight security
The polls will be held for 2,647 wards in municipalities and 382 divisions in corporations. However, councillors to 80 wards and three divisions had been elected unopposed. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president and Minister KT Rama Rao has said his party would win a lion's share of wards and divisions.

తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్రంలో మున్సిపల్‌ ఎన్నికల పోలింగ్‌ ప్రారంభం అయ్యింది. రాష్ట్రం లోని 80 అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాల పరిధిలోని 120 మున్సిపాలిటీలు, తొమ్మిది కార్పొరేషన్లకు నేడు ఎన్నికలు జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఉదయం 7 గంటల నుంచి సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల వరకు పోలింగ్‌ నిర్వహణ జరగనుంది. 9 కార్పొరేషన్లలో 325 డివిజన్లు, 120 మున్సిపాలిటీల్లో 2,727 కౌన్సిలర్ల స్థానాలకు ఎన్నికలను నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు.
