#ChristTheRedeemer (Portuguese: Cristo Redentor, is an Art Deco #StatueofJesusChrist in #RioDeJaneiro, #Brazil.

It is created by #FrenchSculptor #PaulLandowski and Local engineer Heitor da Silva Costa designed the statue, in collaboration with French engineer Albert Caquot. Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida fashioned the face.

The #StatueOfChrist the Redeemer with open arms, a symbol of peace and a cultural icon is listed as one of #TheNew7Wonders of the World.
